Frequently asked questions about the Restaurant
Is there a children's menu?
Yes indeed! Check out our Menu page in advance. In addition, for our youngest guests we have coloring sheets and games ready.
Does Karsten serve vegetarian or gluten-free dishes?
Yes, on our menu you will find several vegetarian dishes. Do you have a gluten allergy? Please indicate this to the service, as we also have gluten-free bread. When making a reservation, you can already indicate which dietary requirements we may take into account.
Is the restaurant smoke-free?
Smoking is allowed on our terrace, but not on the four-season terrace (the conservatory).
What are the options for hosting a party?

Can my dog also stay overnight at Hotel Karsten?
Yes, one dog per room. We charge a small surcharge.
Where do I park my car?
Hotel Karsten has its own parking lot at the rear. Here you will also find charging stations for electric cars. Parking is available on the Brink across the street from the hotel.
Where do I park my bike?
Stow your steel steed safely in our own locked, covered bike shed. It is also possible to charge electric bicycles here.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Your room will be ready as of 3 p.m. on the day of arrival. Until 10 p.m. Our reception desk is open. Arriving later is not a problem, please call 0592 613484.
Check out is possible until 11 a.m. at the latest. on the day of departure.
Is breakfast included in the price of the room?
Yes breakfast is included, but a reservation excluding breakfast is also possible.
From and until what time is breakfast?
Monday through Friday: between 7 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
Saturday & Sunday: between 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
We also provide breakfast and lunch packages!
Where can I smoke in the hotel?
The hotel rooms are smoke-free, but smoking is allowed on the terrace outside.
